So, you all have to know that this post would happen at some point ;) I thought I'd share with you a special delivery that made it to our house a month or so ago...

What could it be?

Hmmm. I wonder if it might be something that will fit here:

Well, what do you know - it is!!! Here they are in all their white washing and drying glory!!!! With a shoe dryer on top....

Here is the first load in the washer:

Here we have the washer and the dryer humming along together for the first time....

And they continue to hum along quite nicely! Boy, am I grateful for the tools to make my work so much easier. Yippeeee! Is it wrong that I want to go and hug them right now?

I say girl....after 20 years of apartment laundry rooms these machines must have just danced into that space and plugged themselves in. A woman and her family laundry are a holy thing. These units are a true blessing....yippee!

They are beautiful!!! Yes, you can hug them. You can even kiss them if you will like. We will not judge :o) I am so happy for you. You make me want to go asnd do laundry...well almost.

I know exactly how you feel my dear! I think I could have hugged my washer and dryer too when we first got them! I was more excited about them than I was the house really. LOL! :) Thank God for modern day conveniences. Hope you guys are enjoying the holiday season. Just mailed you a Christmas letter and photo so you should be getting it soon. We have snow here and more coming tomorrow. It has been SOOO cold! In the teens at night!

Hooray for you!!! That is so exciting, however it is sad thinking that there will be no more posts about the joys of apartment laundry rooms

I love the "action shots" of them doing their first load. ;) There is nothing better than having your own washer and dryer... other than maybe just someone else doing your laundry for you. ;)
